Tokyo, December 25, 2009 – Alpine skier Kuniko Obinata of Dentsu Public Relations Inc. and 18 other athletes were formerly selected by the Japan Paralympic Committee to compete as the Japanese national team at the Vancouver Paralympic Games which start on March 12, 2010. Obinata, the Super-G gold medalist at the 2006 Winter Paralympic Games held in Turin, Italy, will compete in the downhill, super combined, super-G, giant slalom and slalom.
